Bottlelink® is a Limited Liability Corporation developed in San Diego, California in 2007. Bottlelink® was originally patented under a provisional patent during its first year of sales to determine whether it was a viable, needed product that would benefit from a design and utility patent. After nearly a year of sales, a design and utility patent were pursued by Bottlelink® LLC.
Bottlelink® , the product, provides a means for preventing objects from being dropped or thrown by a person either accidentally or intentionally. The primary targeted object is a baby’s bottle or sippy cup; but Bottlelink® can secure other items such as toys as well. It easily connects to high chairs, car seats, strollers or wagons. It was recently featured in a “Favorite Baby Gear” section of Parent’s Magazine and on Parent’s.com as seen below.My Resume / About Me
Bottlelink® was invented by Rene’ and Jeff Freeland of Poway, Calif. in 2006. Bottlelink® LLC was developed in 2007. Rene’ is the CEO and Jeff is the CFO of Bottlelink® LLC. Both also have full-time careers and are parents of Juliane Caroline, who is now three.
Outside of Bottlelink®, Rene’ manages communications for the Western Region of the third largest aerospace company in America - Northrop Grumman. She is responsible for executing communications programs to support current programs, capture efforts, and new business pursuits. The B-2 Bomber, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, FA-18 Fighter, Global Hawk, Fire Scout and X-47B UCAS are under her communications umbrella of responsibility. She is also responsible for publicizing Western Region accomplishments, products, and services to internal customers, industry teammates, the media, and the public. She holds a masters degree in public administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland.Outside of Bottlelink®, Jeff is an active duty Naval Intelligence Officer. He is currently on shore duty managing a reserve intelligence center in San Diego. He is a Commander and has a degree in political science from Occidental College. He is due to complete a master in business administration degree from the Naval War College this summer.
