Fire extinguishing compound that inhibits reignition of combustible material, reduces the temperature of the burning material at a rapid enough rate to allow a fire to be extinguished and reduces heat exposure to firefighters.  The compound inhibits the fire's chemical reation by tying up fire radicals that keep the fire's chain reaction going.
