Full Description
The "Fisherman Chair" was invented by Mr. Oscar Gray, Jr. with convenience in mind. Simply stated, the "Fisherman Chair" is a portable folding chair speciallly equipped with dual fishing rod holders. The chair itself would be compactible, featuring metallic framework with a canvas backing and cushion foam seating area. The backing and seat would measure approximately 4' in height, and 2 1/2' in width and depth when unfolded. Yet, unique to the "Fisherman Chair", and what sets this product apart from common chairs, is found in its rod holders. Positioned on each side of the seat, a tubular, hollow plastic receptacle would extend outward, and would be sized appropriately to accommodate the handle of virtually any model of fishing rod. Other acccesories provided by the "Fisherman Chair" include a handy cup holder on both sides, a tubular slot in the back of the chair for holding an umbrella, and a convenient shoulder strap to facilitate easier portability.
For use, the "Fisherman Chair" would be taken out with regular fishing gear to a river deck or lake shore. Upon reaching the destination, the user would simply unfold the chair and position it in a desired location. With the "Fisherman Chair" in place, the user is ready to fill the cup holder(s) with beverages, the umbrella holder with an umbrella, and most notably, the fishing pole holders with fishing poles. Rods casted and secured, the user can then sit back in the shade, relax with a beverage, and simply wait for the fish to bite!
The "Fisherman Chair" is an innovative chair that would readily enhance the sport of fishing. Eliminating the need to stand and hold a pole while waiting for a bite, the "Fisherman Chair" prevents poles from being dropped, along with a handy, comfortable seat. Simple to transport and easy to operate, this device could improve the rate of fish caught by consumers by providing a more stable and efficient means of managing poles in a comfortable manner.
