Full Description

  • In its most simplest description it could be called a Heat gun with a built in Infrared Temperature Sensor(Same as used in Infrared Thermometers) & Laser Rangefinder (optional feature)

  • Could also be made into Separate Heat Gun accessory

  • Used as a Stand alone Device able to mount on Various Curing devices such as Infrared Lamps,Therapeutic Heat Lamp(as over Temp Saftey Device-Prevent Skin Burns)

  •  Use Laser Rangefinder similar in size and function as the one used on the Wagner Spray-Trac Laser Rangefinder would tell user distance from part, resulting in consistent Heat gun placement. (Two intersecting Laser Beams)

  • User set Temperature Limit/Over Temp Warning and Shut-off.

  • Audible warning signal /Flashing L.E.Ds/Display Screen.

  • Aids in the Curing of  Paint,  Epoxy , Glue ,Adhesives, Potting Compounds ,Powder Coating or any Materail that needs to be keep at a specific Temp.

  • Use for Arts & Crafts,Model Making,Industrail,Autobody,Plumbing,Electrical, House Painting,Maintenance ,Repair,Construction,Labs,Medical ,Farms ,Zoos and Kennels(To sterilize Cages & Kennels .To insure Correct Sterilization Temp is reached.

  • Use the Same as a Conventional Heat Gun

  • Use the Same as a Standard Infrared Thermometer(measure Ambient Tempurature)

  • Still perform other Tasks using Attachments(Shrink Tubing)
  • Helps Fine Tune Heat Settings(by moving Closer or Farther from object while Veiwing Actual Temp on Display)

  • Speeds up Work by allowing operater to work in Upper limits of Cure Zone

  • Leading Waterborne Paint Manufacturer Recommends the Use of a Heat Gun to Aid in Curing

  •  Know exact Temperature of Material at all times

  • Avoid Burning or setting  sensitive material on fire.

  • Adjustable Emissivity for most Common Materials such as: Wood, Metals and Plastics. Fixed Emissivity (.95) would cover 90 % of surface applications.

  • Current low cost of Infrared sensors makes product improvement more feasible.

  • Most Low Cost IR Sensor operate in Same Temp Range as Heat Guns ( up to aprox 1200°F)

  • Infrared Thermometers  have become very common to consumers as seen in many stores such as (Sears, Harbor Freight,Home Depot, Lowes & AutoZone).

  • Feedback from IR sensor could regulate Heat & Air output of gun. (Gun maitains User Set Temp Automatically)

  • Current Heat gun models only measure the Temperature of the Heat Gun, Does not tell the current Temperature of Material being heated. There are many Variables not being addressed by this Method  such as: Material Thickness,Material Type,Distance from Materail and Ambient Temp of Materail(While Using current Heat Guns Models ,How does operater Know actual Materail Temp?)..

  • Make sure Material achieves the Recommended 1112 °F for Disinfection.

  • Eliminated the need for Multiple settings (Some Heat Gun models have up to Eleven Settings)
