These units when installed work independently on a Commercial trailer, RV or pull trailer that has a battery. These units utilize the exhisting lights and flashers to prevent rear end colllissions while these trailers are separated from the power units, allowing the driver to obtain help for the disabled unit. These lights and are non-threatening and have been proven to be life saving.
