ABSTRACT
A tobacco dispensing system for providing users with a means of maintaining
authorized access of Tobacco products in a secure and user-friendly manner.
Preferably, including a dispenser, a register, and a keypad linked by a processing
system.
The dispenser may preferably be of heavy gauge steel and sheet Metal and
interfaced with a barcode reader for verifying a barcode receipt prior to
dispensing the tobacco Products.
A keyboard that is operable coupled to a cashier system that takes a payment
and confirms the sale so that the barcode is automatically generated.
After receiving payment, a tendered key is pressed and the Tobacco order is sent
to the keyboard barcode printer.
The customer then takes the barcode slip and scans It in the dispenser to retrieve
their tobacco products.
The system thus provides a secure and user- friendly means of ensuring
consumers and store clerks to maintain authorized access of a store's tobacco
products.
