The Safe T Seat is designed as a deterrent to the transmission of infectious diseases.  It gives a person using the public restrooms a peace of mind.  It would provide a means of dealing with untidy and unsanitary conditions in public restrooms. The Safe T Seat provides a more effective approach to sanitation in public restrooms.  Current approaches taken by individuals now include the placement of toilet paper around the toilet seat and also the use a paper toilet seat cover that often falls off or sticks to the back of you.  The Safe T Seat grips to the toilet seat therefore keeping it from falling off or into the toilet and it does not stick to the back of you, and if there is urine left on the toilet seat, it will not go through the Safe T Seat, unlike the paper ones that are in the bathrooms now.  This product can be taken anywhere with you while traveling or just shopping.  It needs to be offered in all public restrooms: convention centers, recreational parks, shopping malls, planes, trains, etc. The Safe T Seat positions well on the toilet seat therefore giving the user a peace of mind while using the public restrooms.  The Safe T Seat could be produced easily using conventional and readily materials and manufacturing process.  No new production technology would be required.  The Safe T Seat could be produced from a plastic such as biodegradable urethane.  This material is readily available in a variety of colors and is reasonably priced and easily formed by a wide range of plastic processors.  The elastic would represent a readily available component and it could also be made with an antibacterial layer for more protection.  As far as the packaging, the Safe T Seat could be packaged in a small blister pack.  This type of package consist of a piece of clear polystyrene which has been molded to conform to the shape of the product.  This product will be very inexpensive to manufacture.
