Full Description
The Cabinet Cookware & Utensil Hanger™ assembly is installed into an ordinary kitchen cabinet onto the lower plane of the shelf and has Hanger Assemblies whose positions are adjustable along the length of the track assembly. Cookware can be hung by the Hanger Assemblies in a downward position inside of the cabinet, which allows the user to move the cookware along the track as is needed. This feature allows the user to move the hanging cookware to either compress the space used by the hanging cookware by pushing the cookware together or expand the space by moving cookware away from other cookware. The result is a more efficient use of cabinet volume for storage, using at least 30% less volume overall than storing cookware using conventional methods such as stacking or nesting the cookware. The Hanging guards between cookware pieces protect the Teflon coated cookware from damage that could occur if the cookware was nested without the guards. The cookware lids can be stored on the shelf above the hanging cookware as illustrated here. The Cabinet Cookware & Utensil Hanger™ is Illustrated here storing a nine piece cookware set of varying sizes and shapes. The Cabinet Cookware & Utensil Hanger™ also protects fragile Teflon coated cookware by not allowing the metal surface of one piece of cookware to harmfully contact the delicate Teflon coating on the cooking surface of another piece of cookware by introducing a protective barrier that is placed between hanging pieces of cookware. These barriers would allow for the cookware to be fully nested into one another and conserving cabinet space without concern for damage to the cookware. The Cabinet Cookware & Utensil Hanger™ also allows for pieces of cookware that would be too large to be stored within the cabinet to fit into the cabinet by conventionally placing it onto a shelf. By allowing the overly large piece of cookware to hang and pivot the cookware can be easily placed within the cabinet. A wok 14” in diameter can easily be stored in a cabinet only 12” deep.
