Full Description
By using two stages, the advantages of both tank and tankless water heaters are preserved, and the disadvantages of both are eliminated or minimized. The tank, which is expensive to keep at a hot temperature, doesn't need to be as large when it is filled with pre-heated water from the tank-less stage. And the limited hot water flow, water that may not be hot enough in cold weather, and lengthy response times which have been associated with tank-less heaters, are no longer problems at all.
