They are for 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drives, with three models available in 3"-6", 6"-12" and 12"-22" lengths. The model 36 has a working range between 3" to 6", the model 612 has a working range between 6" to 12" and the model 1222 has a working range between 12" to 22". They extend and retract linearly with graduated detents at one inch intervals and when selected to a length, will not collapse during use.
