Absolutely true that the more solid the network of people involved in getting you exposed to whatever it is you're hoping to achieve, the more likely success will become of it. Good words Eric.

If we all would follow our own compass in life, have a can-do attitude and forget the self-pitty, what a difference it would make. This is a good article and it goes without saying that much should be learned from it's advice. Keep the head up and chart your own course. Failure is not a defeat, it should be learned from, strength derived from it and move ahead with lessons learned form it.

This article cannot be stressed enough. Nothing will "shoot down your ballon" more than realizing after spending buckets of money and time that there isn't a market for you product. That's reason enought to take the time to research if anything like it exists. When you realize there isn't, what a sweet feeling it is to know you can fill you sails with winds of endeavor and go for it!!

I have developed a hand tool accessory for square drive system called the VRE, Variable-Length Ratchet/Socket Extension with an adjustable length feature that extends linearly and is available in three model versions. Several finished samples are complete and market ready with some being used by various individuals in different trades.
I would like to sell the patent or seek a licensing agreement with tool manufacturers interested in this product. The market is wide open with focus on users working within confined, space-restricting areas of mechanical fabrication and repair.
Please see the VRE on IdeaBuyer.com

In response to Bela, I also checked out Davison Invention and was really skeptical of the conversations with them, searched them on the USPTO's complaint list...there were many. Some real sad stories about people who literally lost lots of money and thier idea stolen by them. This is why ANYONE who is looking to market thier idea must research the company.
This is why I'm so glad I found IdeaBuyer. I would hope anyone seeking to list thier product go with them. Just get on the IdeaBuyer site and look at how and what they can do..there is so much info you can self-teach yourself so much about the invention marketing process...you won't need to go anywhere else.

I have invented a fine piece of equipment for the Paint striping feild. From all my research ,I have 1 competitor, and this competitors product is inadequate and just does'nt work right. I know I'm a painter of 45 years and used this product. Infact 14 painters who I work with also agree. So, being an inventer I had to do something. And I did. I have a patent and number because my product is far superior then any on the market. I've done my home work. Within the week I'm going to give the painters at Denver International Airport, where I work, a demonstration. They are in dier need of my product and ready to buy at least 6. That's Just 1 airport. Their are 5,128 paved airports in the US. Plus all the DOT'S in the USA would want at least 1. Thank You for reading this. Please let me know what you think. ABE
