We think so. We know the ins and outs of this process. Through an initial review and selective process, we decide which products and entrepreneurs we want to work with. From an idea standpoint, Idea Buyer recognizes your need to feel safe with us. We are happy to send you an NDA, however all of our submission forms have a confidentiality notice. When you first come to idea company, they should be listening to you and building a relationship. Idea Buyer partners with entrepreneurs to help them turn their idea into a business. Without a wealth of knowledge about the entrepreneur, their product, and their goals for the business, we can’t make a reasonable decision for a partnership. NDAs are beneficial for protection through acknowledgement that the company recognizes the idea is yous. Don’t take lightly though, the quality of the person you are talking with and whether you can trust that they know what they are talking about.
Length of business history and track record is also a great indication of safety.
How far back does the company’s history go? How long have they been developing new ideas? What do people say about them?
This indicator provides more than you know. Within business, there will always be someone who is disappointed. Like the guy who complains at a restaurant about his steak being bad, yet ate the entire thing. The question is, how did the company handle those types of people?
Idea Buyer has been positioning ideas for sale or license for over 10 years. While we have had many successes and happy partners. We have also had some partner products that didn’t take off the way we thought they would.
