Creator Jerome Watts and several neighborhood kids show off Kanga Klothing samples.

April 17th, 2018, Columbus, OH-Kanga Klothing hoodies are here and they’re hot-literally. Kanga Klothing hoodies have built-in hidden pockets as well as sleeves with hidden gloves to keep wearers warm. They couldn’t have come at a better time. These unique hoodies are perfect for the bizarre spring temperatures that have been plaguing the northwestern United States.

As a New York native, Kanga Klothing creator Jerome Watts is no stranger to cold weather. He came up with the idea for Kanga Klothing while tailgating at a football game. Tired of tucking his hands away for warmth, Watts was inspired to create a line of sweatshirts with hidden pocket pouches. The former education administrator believes that his sweatshirts will meet a bigger need. In his mind, the clothing line will help people who are “dealing with the cold but not really having the clothing for it”.

The sweatshirt design features a larger main pocket and built-in gloves tucked just inside the cuffs. This will likely be welcome news to parents everywhere. Instead of stretching out sweatshirts to stay warm, children will be able to use the perfectly positioned warming pouches.

The response to Kanga Klothing has been nothing short of phenomenal. Watts, who is “a huge sports fan” is currently in talks with universities in the Rochester, NY area about manufacturing licensed clothing. Due to this, he hopes to expand the line to include the original Kanga Klothing hoodies, dri-fit t-shirts, and long-sleeved tees.
